About Hume Protection Group in Geelong

The Hume Protection Group name has been synonymous with providing broad ranging, quality and reliable Geelong security services since 2001 – and as far back as 1993 under the Hume Security brand.

In 2010 Rocky Pirrottina took over the company – not only is he a long-time Geelong resident, he has been with the company since it began. Now Managing Director, Rocky is proud to specialise in protecting the Geelong community.

Hume Protection Group provides security services for more than 350 clients, mainly for corporate security, and provides a 24/7 mobile patrol car response throughout the Greater Geelong region and the Surf Coast. This includes alarm response for the Education Security Control Centre, Government schools throughout the region and a mobile patrol response throughout the City of Greater Geelong. This is all achieved with a fleet of four highly-visible patrol cars on the road from 5pm to 8am each day and day time response from our Newtown Control Centre.
